Pervy Boy @ Metta Carnival 2009
The pictures of us performing at Metta Carnival are finally here! Thanks Ad! Btw, if you are wondering who Ad is, she played the bass for the pervs when Marcia was away in Spain (and many other places!) and she is really really good. She is a friend of Kaye and currently a sessionist playing bass for several bands!!
The Metta Carnival was organised by the Metta Welfare Association(which provides the best health care and welfare services for the needy and less fortunate) to help raise funds for the them. We were certainly psyched to be part of this fund raising carnival.
Despite our initial equipment setbacks, we were able to pull it off! Thanks Metta staff for your help.
The highlight of the whole event was that Marge invited the kids up on stage and dance with Pervy Boy They were excellent backup dancers!!(Andrew, Kaye and Ad were dancing along with them too!). I have put up some pictures of the carnival! Till next time, perv on!!

Pervy Boy @ Cineleisure
Hey pervy pervs,
First of all, I like to thank Kaye's friends who came all the way down to support Kaye, Steph and Pervy Boy. I think all of us were really tired from work/school but Kaye's and Steph's friends came!! Hopefully, the next gig, I hope I will be able to say hi to them and know their names (besides Yanhua). I usually get a sudden 'rush' after performing and that leaves me with a headache. (It is definitely not due to me shaking my head to every song.) It is really cool that every time we perform, we would be able to draw a crowd and that's what happened at cineleisure. I think the best thing was we had fun and we really enjoyed ourselves. Kaye was grooving, Marcia was dancing, Marge was rocking out and Steph was busy smacking away. We are having a gig at Metta Charity Walk cum Family Carnival 2009 this sunday at 32 Simei Street 1. We will be performing at 3.55pm. It is really really far away but if you want to catch the girls/boy in action and you are staying around that area, do walk up to us and say hi!!!
PS: We have something coming up at the end of June and we are really really excited. Will keep you guys updated. In the meantime, here are two pictures of the gig!

Pervy Boy rocking out @ Vivocity!
Hey everyone/Pervs,
Today's gig at Vivocity was uber awesome. Our gig was held at the rooftop which is next to Marche. It was pretty depressing when we first arrived there. There wasn't anyone except some other people who were sitting there looking bored. Well, we didn't let that affect us . We put up a great show and we are thankful that Singapore Street Festival has given budding musicians like Pervy Boy a platform to perform. Whether there is an audience or not, the show must go on. Oh btw, did I mention that Steph has a cool drum stick bag that says, 'Stolen from Tre Cool '(Greenday's Drummer) ?
So we started our sound check with Away and people were starting to stream in from the sides of the stage. Since our sound check was a quick one, we immediately went on to play Pervy Boy's greatest hits and we could see at least half of the auditorium filled with people. We even got a request to play a Happy Birthday song to Xinrui. (I apologize if I have spelled it wrongly) It was totally spontaneous and we were glad that we manage to pull it off nicely. Steph was doing a marching roll while Kaye, Marcia and Andrew continued to play until the birthday girl came to the front of the stage. Her friends are really sweet!! Xinrui, I am sure it is one of your most memorable birthday moments ever!
We also played our newest song, 'Stolen' after all the 'greatest hits' and everyone really liked it. Hopefully, we will be able to play another new song for this coming thurs at Cineleisure. Do come down if you wanna check out our new songs or want us to sing a birthday song!
PS: Will be putting up the pictures once I get hold of them (BTW, thanks Yanhua for taking a million pics of the pervs!!!)

Pervy Boy rocking out @ Lcube!
How's everyone? Yes, I know I was supposed to write the post like a couple of days ago but I was too busy preparing for another gigs that are coming along our way.
Okay, I have heard from you! The venue is really hot and when I meant hot, it's like performing in a huge oven for an hour. I felt like I have lost two kgs just performing in that room. Even though the venue isn't really suitable for a huge gig like ours, more than 60 people came to support their friends or family members of both DeZygote ad 7T3. We also have Sarah, a pervy fan, who came directly from school just to watch us perform!!
I think DeZygote and 7T3 put in a lot of effort in showcasing their talents to the audience and everyone really liked it (CLAP! CLAP!). Everyone was literally headbanging to every song that they were playing. They certainly put up a kickass show!! A word of advice : Continue to do what you are doing and don't let anyone stop you. I am sure I will be able to see the bands at other performances!!!
I was hoping that they would be able to play more songs but hey, this isn't the last show. I am sure there are more to come and hopefully we would be able to put up a better show with a suitable venue. Of course, we will try to make the gig as affordable as possible ( Like MTV $2 Bill), just enough to cover the cost of the venue.
DeZygote and 7T3, looking forward to share the stage with you! Hope to hear from you soon!
PS: Do send us your website/myspace/email or photos so we can post it up on our blog!!!!
