Hey Pervs,

Pervy Boy wishes everyone Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! I have just put up some pictures of us recording at The Void for the Noise CD. We have no idea what the name of the song will be but it's an annoyingly happy song!

We're so so near completing the album: Marge is holding Nick and knife-point until mastering is finished. So the next time we say the album will be out soon, it really will be true (cross my heart). 2010 is going to be jam-packed with great treats for us (and you) so WATCH THIS SPACE!

Awesome Jamming Session

Hello fellow pervs!

Our jamming session with Patrick and Amin last night was extremely rewarding and productive! Kudos to those guys! Been jamming at 3Fx, located near Clarke Quay. The studio is located at the 4th level, so by the time when I reach the studio, I'll be grasping for air. That aside, the studio is really decent!

We're currently working on our latest song, entitled... okay I have no idea what's the title of the song yet. We are still in the midst of finalizing the song.

Anyway, Pervy Boy will be having an official website, both me and Andrew are working hard on this, hopefully we will get it up and running real soon! Fingers crossed.

another pervy update

Greetings young pervs!

It's been awhile since the Pervs updated this blog but that's only because we've been busy busy bees!

Here's an idea of our goings on:

• We've got three gigs lined up but only one open to public (sorry Wafah!). Anyway, we're performing @ Electric Ballroom on 04 December (it's a Friday). The time isn't confirmed yet but it'll be at Home Club - sorry kids, this is an R18 gig.Everyone else, drop us an email if you want to be on the guest list.

• The Pervs have been selected for the coveted Noise Singapore Apprenticeship 2010! Our mentor for the next 7 weeks is Patrick Chng (one of the gurus of local music) - who's already giving us homework!

• We've just recorded a new song (even Nick is excited about it!) which you'll be hearing at the next few gigs. It sounds nothing like our other stuff and it doesn't have a name yet. It'll be referred to as Untitled (for now). It'll be on the playlist very soon!

• We're really close to finishing our album (finally) so please start saving up so you can buy it! We're on the lookout for budding designers - we'll pay you in kisses - Any takers?

The band did an accoustic set at Alexandra Distripark this afternoon for Stand Up! 2009 - a worldwide initiative to stand up and take action against poverty.

We're so psyched about this opportunity to make a difference; this is how you can STAND UP! too (it's ridiculously easy!)

Hello Fans! (hi mom!)
Pervy Boy had an amazing time at Sunday's Musical Extravaganza! We shared the UCC stage with some great talent and even got an award! (which we promptly dropped and now the glass is totally shattered, but that's a story for another time)
A little bird informs me that most of you are super stressed with exams and the like and therefore couldn't be there to rock out with us :(
We missed you!

As you might have realised, we have changed our shoutbox(again)! No idea what happened to the previous one, so go on put your love messages for the band on our pervy shoutbox!

Pervy Boy will be performing @ University Cultural Centre Theatre, NUS and we will be playing a new song (which doesn't have a name). We totally love it! (Nick loves it too but shhhh, don't tell anyone,) There will be other performances by singers and bands. The event is on the 11th October 2009 Sunday from 6.30pm-8.30pm.

New Pervy Boy

Pervy Boy @ Singapore Arts Street

Hey Everyone,

Another update from Pervy Boy! Last weekend was certainly a blast!! Pervy boy performed at Singapore Arts Festival in Marine Parade. What happened during our performance was that there kids were dancing, Kaye's friends were clapping very loudly to every song we played, Marcia's students came from the west just to support the band, the uncles found Andrew amusing and they were busy taking our pictures too!!! After the gig, we were also asked to perform at an open house in Aug!!I will be putting up pictures of the performance soon!!

Thanks everyone who turned up for our performance!!

PS : Our album should be out in Sep/Oct! Keep your fingers crossed!!!

Brand New Pervs

Pervy Boy @ Metta Carnival 2009

The pictures of us performing at Metta Carnival are finally here! Thanks Ad! Btw, if you are wondering who Ad is, she played the bass for the pervs when Marcia was away in Spain (and many other places!) and she is really really good. She is a friend of Kaye and currently a sessionist playing bass for several bands!!

The Metta Carnival was organised by the Metta Welfare Association(which provides the best health care and welfare services for the needy and less fortunate) to help raise funds for the them. We were certainly psyched to be part of this fund raising carnival.

Despite our initial equipment setbacks, we were able to pull it off! Thanks Metta staff for your help.

The highlight of the whole event was that Marge invited the kids up on stage and dance with Pervy Boy They were excellent backup dancers!!(Andrew, Kaye and Ad were dancing along with them too!). I have put up some pictures of the carnival! Till next time, perv on!!
